Learn the Craft—and the Industry
The first session is all about ideas. Learn about the craft of writing and revising, and get an insider perspective on pitching and publishing your novel. We’ll cover a lot of ground in just a few hours, and you’ll leave the session inspired to put everything you’ve learned into action.
Challenge Your Own Work
In between sessions, you’ll receive a specific challenge you can apply to your own in-process manuscript or outline, based on what we covered in the first session. We’ll workshop the results in the second session, giving you a taste of what our larger Story Mastermind program is like.
Workshop & Chat
Session two is all about interaction. We’ll talk through what you learned in the challenge, workshop ideas and problems, and do a live demo. This session will also include a Q&A with Story Mastermind faculty member Kristen Overman, an expert editor with experience across genres.
